Each year, the Hero-Hunts Foundation sponsors a trip to Walt Disney World for several military families. This magical vacation gives these families a chance to bond and make memories together – something that isn’t always possible.
Julia and Sean M. and their children were part of one of our very first trips. They fondly remember their magical vacation to this day!
A Magical Vacation with Lasting Memories
“In 2018, our family was blessed with a trip to Walt Disney World by the Hero-Hunts Foundation,” Julia shares. “We were gifted a very much-needed family vacation. We have so many memories and we could not be more thankful for all of what the Nunan family did for our family!”
Julia, Sean, and their two children had a blast meeting their favorite characters, riding incredible rides, and exploring the magical parks at Walt Disney World.
But, they shared that the best part was spending time with one another and other families.
“We were able to spend some one-on-one time with everyone that went on the trip with us and the families that made our vacation a reality,” Julia says.
“They’re an amazing group of people that really just go above and beyond to make their military families (feel) taken care of and appreciated! (We’re) so glad we were able to meet everyone and spend time with you all.”
Even now, years later, Julia, Sean, and their children talk about their favorite memories from a magical vacation they won’t ever forget.
Julia shares, “With all of our love, we appreciate all you do and all the hard work you pour into your community. Just know that every time we’re dancing to a Disney tune and it was one we all remember from our trip, we start sharing our memories and it lights up all of our faces – especially our kids’ faces! Every single time! We’ll never forget what you all did for us.”
