Local Rotary Clubs Support the HHF Mission

Last year, two local Rotary Clubs raised funds for the Hero Hunts Foundation through their annual Flags for Heroes program.

Over the past year, the Hero-Hunts Foundation (HHF) has been able to host several programs for local veterans and service members, thanks in part to generous support from two local Rotary Clubs.

To celebrate Veterans Day in 2024, the Rotary Clubs of Brandywine Hundred and Brandywine-Naamans teamed up to install 525 flags in honor of veterans, first responders, and personal heroes.

These flags, which were displayed in a moving tribute for the first two weeks in November, were each sponsored by a member of the community. All proceeds of this Flags for Heroes program went directly to supporting the HHF mission.

Our team was invited to attend the Rotary Clubs’ 10th Annual Flags for Heroes Dedication Ceremony on November 11, during which we were presented with a $12,000 donation.

Since that day, this gift has made it possible for us to show our appreciation and gratitude to our U.S. veterans, service members, and their families through various programs and services. These programs focus on connecting those who have served and sacrificed with one another and with the outdoors.

Thank you, Rotary Clubs of Brandywine Hundred and Brandywine-Naamans, for choosing to support HHF through your 2024 Flags for Heroes program. And thank you to all of the incredible community members who sponsored a flag and contributed to helping our American heroes!

We were honored to participate in this decade-long tradition and proud to witness the honor and appreciation shown by our community.
