The Hero-Hunts Foundation was founded in 2016 to show our appreciation for U.S. veterans and service members. We started with a small deer hunt that year and have since expanded to include larger hunts, appreciation events, family vacations, and more.

Hero-Hunts Celebrates 10 Years with Harvest Ridge Winery
In 2013, the Nunan family opened Harvest Ridge Winery. They then established the Hero-Hunts Foundation in 2016 as a way to openly express their gratitude for the men and women who serve our country.
The Winery has supported the Hero-Hunts Foundation in many ways over the years, including annual events and fundraisers like the Harvest Ridge Winery Food Truck Competition. In 2025, the Nunan family officially gifted the Winery to the Foundation, ensuring that winery profits will directly impact our mission.
To celebrate 10 years of the Hero-Hunts Foundation, HHF and Harvest Ridge Winery have teamed up to create a special charity wine – the Red 47 – Hero-Hunts 10th Anniversary Edition.
The best part is that every bottle gives back! $1 from each bottle sold will be donated to the Hero-Hunts Foundation.
