How to Celebrate America’s 250th Birthday by Honoring Our Veterans

Are you ready for America’s 250th birthday?

Here are a few ways you can celebrate our country’s independence this July 4th and beyond by honoring veterans and military members for their bravery and sacrifice.

Are you looking forward to celebrating America’s 250th birthday?

We are, too!

The food…the fireworks…what’s not to love?

But what we’re most excited about is honoring the brave men and women who have kept this country free for 250 years and counting.

Here are a few ways you can plan to celebrate Independence Day by supporting our country’s veterans and service members this year!

Our Favorite Ways to Celebrate America’s 250th Birthday

From July 4th fireworks to historical events – and beyond – there are many opportunities to celebrate Independence Day in our area.

When you pair these celebrations with support for veterans and service members, you’re not only honoring our country but our American heroes as well!

Attend an Independence Day Event at Harvest Ridge Winery

Did you know that Harvest Ridge Winery profits go toward the Hero-Hunts Foundation? That means that every purchase made at a Harvest Ridge location directly impacts veterans and service members!

Join us at Harvest Ridge Winery to celebrate America’s 250th birthday at these upcoming events.

July 4: Live Music with Ken Miller

Come on out to Harvest Ridge Winery’s Pennsylvania location on July 4th for live music and delicious drinks. Ken Miller will perform at 4 p.m.!

July 4: Live Music with Kevin Burns

The Delaware location will also be open on July 4th. Join us all day for food, drinks, and fun, with live music provided by Kevin Burns beginning at 4:30 p.m.

July 11: Red, White & Brews 2026

Red, White & Brews is back this year as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday! Experience history as it comes to life at Harvest Ridge Winery’s Delaware location, where you’ll find Revolutionary War reenactors, a living history encampment, and more.

There will also be a chance to learn more about and support the Hero-Hunts Foundation while you enjoy the event.

Raise a Glass to Freedom

The Hero-Hunts Foundation is also celebrating a big anniversary this year – 10 years of serving veterans, service members, and their families! To celebrate, Hero-Hunts has teamed up with Harvest Ridge Winery to create a special edition of Red 47.

The unique patriotic label on this wine honors veterans and active-duty military. And $1 from every bottle purchased directly benefits American heroes!

Support Veterans & Service Members

You can also show your support for the brave men and women who fight for our country’s freedom every day with a donation to the Hero-Hunts Foundation.

In honor of America’s 250th birthday, please consider making a $25 donation to Hero-Hunts.

Your generosity will help us expand our programs and serve more American heroes in our area. We’ll be able to bring more veterans and service members on our annual Hunt, take more families on once-in-a-lifetime trips, fill up more gas tanks for those living on base, and so much more.

Thank you for celebrating our nation’s independence – and the heroes who make it possible – in such a meaningful way!

About the Hero-Hunts Foundation

The Hero-Hunts Foundation was founded in 2016 as a way for us to show our gratitude and appreciation for the brave men and women who have sacrificed so much for our country.

We offer several programs that focus on connecting veterans and service members with the outdoors and with each other, including our annual Hunt and trips to Walt Disney World for military families. Our organization also offers support to other nonprofits in our area with similar missions to our own.
